A breakfast was held Thursday morning to support a local group that aims to improve the lives of others. The event was organized by Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning to support the United Way.

It's a community-based organization that helps people achieve their potential through education, income stability and healthy lives. More than 300 people gathered and volunteered their time and gifts.

Organizers say it's a way to give back to the community and create an excitement about United Way and all that it does.

Ray Isaac said, “It was our way of getting them all together so they understood the importance and allowed us to make some comments and really make a personal connection to the united way and all the great things they do for our community.”

This is the 31st year the breakfast benefit has been held for United Way.
