Officials say security tight for Boston Marathon

The Boston Marathon is looking to rise from the rubble of last year's bombings today with more runners, more spectators and a lot more security.

State and local officials are hoping for a safe but still enjoyable day for the 36,000 runners planning to participate in the Boston Marathon and the hundreds of thousands of spectators.
Fifty runners from the Rochester area will be taking part in this year’s marathon. News10NBC’s Justin Granit is in Boston and will be talking with our runners after the marathon. Join us at 5 and 6 for full coverage.
