A leading environmental health researcher from the University of Michigan is giving parents, teachers and day care providers the information they need to create a safe environment for children.

Dr. Dana Dolinoy will discuss the dangerous chemicals we encounter every day and how they impact children's health. The presentation will take place Tuesday at Child Care Council on 595  Blossom Road beginning at 4 p.m. One thing Dr. Dolinoy's presentation will focus on is how compounds found in many plastic products, like Bisphenol A or "BPA", may affect human bodies by altering normal gene activity.
