Four fallen law enforcement officers to be honored

Four fallen law enforcement officials from Wayne County will be honored on Friday by the Badge of Honor Association. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at the Public Safety Building on Route 31 in Lyons.

The event will honor Investigator Carl Clingerman, Chief Amedeo Lese, Constable Edward Pullman and Constable William Degreff, who all died while serving their communities. Investigator Clingerman and Chief Lese both died in the 1970's.Constable Pullman and Degraff died in the early 1900's.

The Badge of Honor association installs commemorative plaques to honor officers killed in the line of duty.
