Music for a good cause.  On Sunday afternoon the Rochester Medical Orchestra put on a concert for Saint Joseph’s Neighborhood Center.

The group is made up of physicians, scientists, students and hospital staff.  During their free time they get together to play music and raise funds for local, medically-related non-profits.

“St. Joseph’s not only functions with volunteers, but our entire budget, which is $1.3 million, is raised through donation and grants from the community. Fund raisers like this are our bread and butter,” said Christne Wagner from St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center.

Sunday’s event took place on Gregory Street and was free to attend.
