It's a local college expansion plan to help the community with medical therapy.

On Monday, officials at Nazareth College broke ground on the new Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute. Lieutenant Governor Bob Duffy was even on hand.

The $16.5 million expansion will double the space used by current health care majors. It will also expand the number of programs, along with enrollment.

The new institute is scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.
