It was a terrifying night for so many and next month, there will be a special return to Normandy, France to mark 70 years since D-Day.

The Whiskey Seven crew took advantage of the nice weather Monday by getting the World War II plane prepped for the long journey. The aircraft was taken up and down the runway. It also went up for a short flight.

Whiskey Seven departs for Normandy, France on May 15. The crew is still looking for donations to help fund the trip.
