Janet Lomax receives award from Urban League of Rochester

It is a big honor for News10NBC’s Janet Lomax. She was recipient of the Outstanding Community Leader Award from the Urban League of Rochester. It’s all because of her service to the Rochester community.

More than 100 supporters of the organization were on hand at the Frederick Douglas Resource Center on King Street Tuesday night.

Other honorees included ?UR’s Dr. Adrienne Morgan, Mercy High School student Phoebe Conley, Urban League Board of Directors member Ernest Hicks, WDKX General Manager Marietta Avery, VP of Sales for Baldwin Richardson Foods Erin Tolefree.
