An Ontario County man is charged with driving under the influence by drugs after sheriff’s deputies say he nearly hit a marked patrol car.

Deputies say 51-year-old Ralph Stanbrook of Seneca Castle was driving on Route 96 in Farmington around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators say as deputies got closer to his car, he crossed the center line and narrowly missed an oncoming patrol car.

He’s currently being held in the Ontario County Jail.
