Diverging Diamond Interchange project receives award

The Diverging Diamond Interchange at I-590 and Winton Road in Brighton has received an award from The Genesee Valley Branch of the American Public Works Association.

The New York State Department of Transportation and Erdman Anthony received the 2013 Project of the Year Award for Transportation in the less than $5-million category for their work on the project.

The Diverging Diamond was completed in 2012 and was the first of its kind in the state.
