A 31-year-old Farmington woman is facing charges in Wayne County.

Macedon Police tell News10NBC an off-duty police officer observed Angel Gray and another person covering up their license plates with stickers in the parking lot of Walmart. Police say Gray entered the store and stole nearly $400 worth of merchandise.

She was subsequently charged with petit larceny and officer say she told them she decided to go to the Macedon Walmart because “it’s a hick town with bad security cameras”.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court at a later date.
