News10NBC has an update in the case of a local psychiatrist accused of moving the body of a missing man and partially burying it in his yard.

A judge has determined that Dr. William Lewek is eligible to be accepted into a special program for people with drug habits facing criminal charges. That means Lewek could see a reduction in charges and sentencing.  However, officials say the prosecutor is against Lewek being placed in that program.

A hearing will be held later this month to determine what will happen.

Lewek is accused of moving the body of Matthew Straton, who was reported missing in October. Lewek is not charged with Straton's death. News10NBC will continue to track this case and bring you an update when that hearing happens.
