Two vehicles possibly hit by a bullet in the past two weeks.
Drivers will be on alert during the Friday morning commute less than 24 hours after a truck driver said it happened to him on 390 in Gates. Right now the area is back open.
This is the second time in two weeks a driver says their vehicle has been shot at on the road.
Last Wednesday a driver said their car was hit on 390 near West Ridge Road. Yesterday, a truck driver says he heard a noise as he passed under a railroad bridge near Chili Avenue. He discovered the window on the back of the truck broken.
That set off a full scale search of the area with police closing down both sides of the highway for hours.
Investigators combed the area looking for evidence even using dogs and a helicopter to look for clues but deputies, state and local police and FBI agents failed to find any spent shell casings or suspects.
