Local woman pleads guilty to using fraudulent prescriptions to get drugs

A guilty plea from a local woman who officials say was using fraudulent prescriptions to get drugs. The New York State Attorney General’s Office says Anestacia Wilson was involved in a scheme to illegally obtain and fill OxyContin prescriptions for profit.

Officials say Wilson got the false prescriptions from a local ringleader who got access to her employer’s prescription pad.

As part of the plea deal, Wilson will serve three years of probation.
