Neighbors, business owners and community members in Charlotte will ask their questions Monday night about the city's plan for a major development at the Port Of Rochester.

The Charlotte Community Association is teaming up with the Port of Charlotte Merchants Association to get answers about phase two of the Port of Rochester Marina Project. The meeting will take place Monday starting at 7 p.m. at the Roger Robach Community Center on Beach Avenue.  CCMA has invited Rochester's top environmental official to the meeting to hear more details on the city's recently accepted development proposal.

Earlier this month, Mayor Lovely Warren selected the $70 million proposal from developer, Edgewater Resources, out of Michigan. The project, which is expected to happen in phases, will start with expanding the marina at the port with the addition of a hotel and retail space.
