A Sodus man is facing charges after police say neighbors saw his three-year-old son walking around on a second story roof.
Thomas C. Rouland, 37, of Sodus, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt.
Sheriff’s deputies say Rouland was at home with his children on April 26 when neighbors found his three-year-old son walking around on a second story roof. Neighbors responded and instructed the toddler to stay away from the roof’s edge. They also alerted Rouland and called 911.
This is the second arrest for Rouland this month. Sheriff’s deputies say Rouland was arrested on April 1 when his three-year-old son was found walking on Maple Avenue near Route 104.
Rouland was arraigned in the town of Sodus Court and will reappear at a later date.
