News10NBC is learning new information in the case of a former Wayne County school bus driver accused of driving drunk.
Julynn Criscuolo was back in court Tuesday. A trial date was set for September 3.
Investigators say a supervisor suspected Criscuolo was drunk while on her route driving kids. Officials say that supervisor took her to get a test at a private facility which showed she was twice the legal limit. Criscuolo was then driven home by a school district employee.
Hours later, police say Criscuolo crashed her own car head-on into another driver.
The district has put a new policy in place requiring officials to call police immediately if they suspect an employee is under the influence.
