Study: 90-percent of parents admit to distracted driving

A majority of parents engage in distracted driving even when their children are in the car.
A new study found 90-percent of parents admit to habits like talking on the phone or handing their kids food or a toy while driving. One-third said they texted while driving with their child.
Experts urge parents to model safe driving behaviors in front of their children who will eventually be driving themselves.
