News10NBC has new information surrounding a Wayne County girl’s fight to go to the prom.

After meetings with the school district, Jacqueline Duncan will still not be allowed to attend Wayne High School’s prom. The district says the high school junior is not eligible because she was not passing enough classes.

Her parents say she is now passing at least four classes. She was having problems because she has two chronic auto-immune disorders that have caused her to miss a lot of school.

Duncan’s parents, along with a few friends, are planning a special night for her Saturday, which is the same night as the prom.
