It is prom season, but it isn’t just high school seniors taking part in the fun.

A pair of Fairport High School seniors, who work at the Maplewood Estates Retirement Home in Fairport, organized a prom for the senior citizens there.

The girls transformed the place into “Prom under the Stars" with a photo booth, a dance floor and a DJ.

Aubrey Totsline and Natalie Geisbuesh said, "We really wanted to get to know our residents better and we serve them every day, but we've never had a chance to really talk to them and get to know them, so we thought it would be a good idea to throw this prom."
