Teenager taken to hospital following fire on Saratoga Avenue

A teenager were taken to the hospital following a fire in the city Monday evening.

The fire broke out just before 5:00 p.m. Monday in a two-family home on Saratoga Avenue. Firefighters say it started in the rear of the house.

Six people were able to get out of the house on their own. Rural/Metro tells News10NBC that they transported a teenager to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters are still looking for a cause.
