Our Lady of Mercy has received a $5-million gift to its Mercy's Make the Difference - Invest in Mercy capital campaign. The gift is from 1961 graduate Kathleen Bonsignore Walgreen and her husband, Cork.

School officials say this donation, the largest single donation in the school’s history, will support Mercy’s Performing Arts Center. The gift is in honor of Sister Mary Bryan Ford and Sister M. Dismas, both of whom taught Walgreen at Mercy.

Over the past several years, Mercy has been working to make improvements to its facilities, enhance its academics and grown the endowment fund.
