Most of the nearly 800 power outages across Ontario County have been restored as of early Wednesday morning.

About 37 RG&E customers remain without power, with many of those being in the Manchester area. One Manchester resident told us the rain looked like a wall of water.

Residents on Merrick Avenue were up early Wednesday to check the damage in the neighborhood.

One man told us his belongings were thrown around by the strong wind and today he'll have to deal with the damage. Jeff Wegman said, “I heard a loud, thunderous noise. What it was was the hot tub being shifted 15 or 20 feet. The cover got blown out and split in half. Then the grill got lifted up and went down under a bunch of branches as well.”

So far, no injuries have been reported and most power has been restored.
