Flash flooding in portion of Steuben County

A flash flood warning is still in effect for Steuben County. The rain is stopping but run off will still impact parts of the county.

Emergency officials tell News10NBC some areas of Steuben County have seen nearly three inches of rain in the area causing flash flooding in the Hartsville, Canisteo, Prattsburgh, Urbana, Bath, and Cohocton areas.

The following roads are affected:

Town of Urbana:  

• Lower East Lake Road closed from Gateway Lane to Silvernail

Town of Prattsburgh:
• Fisher Road
• Waldo Road
• Hotchkiss Road
• Pressler Road

Town of Wheeler:
• CR13 between Hungry Hlw and Vanhusen

Town of Hartsville:
• Slate Crk Road

Town of Wayne:
• CR87 between Rose and Grove Springs

Town of Hornellsville:
• N Main St Ext- Lower end

Town of Avoca:
• SR415 at Michigan Hollow
• Many town roads in the warned area may have flooded due to runoff.

Drivers are urged to use caution.
