Man shot multiple times on Seward St.

The Rochester Police Department says a man is in stable condition after he was shot several times on the city's southwest side late Saturday night.

Police say they were called to Seward Street  just off of Genesee Street around 11:45 p.m. Saturday night for a report of a man shot.

When officers arrived, police say they found a 20-year-old man inside a house who had been shot multiple times in the body. According to investigators, the man was shot while he was in his car. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and police say he is in stable condition.

Police say no suspect is in custody at this time and ask anyone with information to call 911.
