One of the firefighters injured during the West Webster shooting spoke on Monday at the UR Medicine's Kessler Trauma Center.

Firefighter Joseph Hofstetter spoke at an event, which recognized its trauma center as one of only two across the entire state to be verified as Level One. That means they'll be able to provide the highest level of surgical care to trauma patients.

Hospital officials say it is an outstanding community asset and one that doesn't exist in many parts of the country.
