A Brockport man was able to escape a serious train crash without even a scratch.

Officers say the driver, 24-year-old Lee Sietmann, was driving his pickup truck along Hulberton Road in the town of Murray when he ran into a moving train.

Investigators say the train, which was carrying fertilizer, was passing through the crossing when the driver crashed. Police say he was able to jump from the truck just moments before it burst into flames.

None of the materials spilled from the train and no one was injured.
