If you are planning to travel this holiday weekend, local law enforcement will be stepping up patrols. The Rochester Police Department and New York State Troopers are teaming up to keep an eye out for drunk drivers.

This is all part of the "STOP-DWI Crackdown Weekend." It starts Thursday throughout New York State and runs through Tuesday. Officials say the goal of this program is to make sure you get to and from your destination safely.
