A 51-year-old Newark man will spend the next five years in prison after being convicted on possessing child pornography.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig Gestring said the case against David Mullie was first brought to their attention by a family member who found sexually explicit photos on Mullie’s computer. We are told Mullie was in possession of more than 600 images of children on his computer.

Mullie will also serve 20 years of supervised release.
