New York weather service spotters report tornado

The National Weather Service says spotters have reported apparent tornado damage with trees and power lines down and a home destroyed as severe thunderstorms packing high winds and large hail move eastward through Schenectady and Albany counties.

The weather service has posted a tornado warning until 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
