While most people will observe Memorial Day on Monday, Rochester's main post office will take time Friday to remember men and women who died fighting for our country.

There will be a wreath laying ceremony outside the post office on Jefferson Road in Henrietta Friday at 3 p.m., followed by a rifle salute to honor fallen military men and women.

Representatives from the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Veteran Affairs and Congresswoman Louise Slaughter will attend the event.
