A man was hurt following a serious crash in Penfield Saturday morning.

Deputies say a man in his twenties was traveling south on Salt Road when witnesses say he ran a red light and struck a vehicle headed west on Route 441. The man suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and deputies say he is currently in critical condition.

Deputies say Route 441 and Salt Road are back open to traffic. The driver in the other car was not hurt and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time. News10NBC will continue to track the crash and bring you an update when more information is available.
