Nik Wallenda will be performing at Darien Lake Amusement Park all summer. On Saturday, we got a preview of his act.

Saturday afternoon, Wallenda took to his tight rope, but not for your typical walk. Instead Wallenda rode a motorcycle across the rope with his wife in tow on a metal frame underneath.

Wallenda says his show, that will be at Darien Lake all summer, will be about sixty minutes long on average and feature performers from around the world. The shows will start June 24 and run until September.

He also says he's glad to return to Western New York.

"After I got off that cable in Niagara Falls, I've said, 'there's a piece of my heart that will always be in this region' and this community has embraced me. It's been amazing, I get goose bumps. The care for me, the letters, the emails."

"It means a lot to me."
