A Rochester man is facing felony charges after police say he got out of a car, led them on a foot chase and they later found a gun.

Police say on Friday an officer made a traffic stop on Lyell Avenue in Gates when 22-year-old Antoine Campbell, a passenger in the car, got out and started running.

After he was taken into custody, police found a loaded handgun on his car seat.

Campbell is charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He’s being held on $5,000 cash bail.
