The Gates Police Department says two people were injured late Saturday night after a serious car crash on Buffalo Road.

Sergeant Lance Duffy tells News10NBC a vehicle on Adeane Road West was making a left hand turn onto Buffalo Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night when it went into the path of another car traveling east on Buffalo Road.

The impact of the crash sent both cars off the road and caused one to rollover. According to Sgt. Duffy, both drivers were seriously injured as a result of the crash.

Police say a male driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and the female driver was taken to Unity. News10NBC will have an update when more information is available.
