The 7th annual ROC City Rib Fest continued at Genesee Valley Park on Sunday.
This year’s festival was one of the largest of its kind in the country, with professional BBQ teams and judges coming from all over the U.S.
Organizers say more than 6,000 people attended the festival on Saturday.
“There are so many different parts of the festival. We have two different music stages and we have big food. We’ve got over 125 competitors in the bowl of the festival and such a great, beautiful park area for everyone to come and relax,” said Tara Gregeson, ROC City Rib Fest organizer.
The ROC City Rib Fest continues on Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A portion of the proceeds go to Golisano Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House of Rochester.
