Fire officials say a grease fire erupted at a popular restaurant in Spencerport on Sunday afternoon.

Officials say a fire started at Slayton Place after an employee left a burner on when closing up the diner.

Firefighters say smoke was coming out of the vents and the roof, but they were able to put the fire out quickly.

No one was hurt.
