A bill to name the post office after Sergeant Nicholas Reid is now on the desk of President Obama and awaiting his final signature. The Senate passed the bill late last week while the House passed it in March. Reid, who was from Brockport, was killed in Afghanistan in December 2012 by an improvised explosive device. He received numerous medals, including the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star Medal. Reid was just 26-years-old.
