Deputies: Middlesex man intoxicated during April crash

The Yates County Sheriff's Department says a man who was thrown from his vehicle last month was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Deputies say 37-year-old Steven Rippey suffered internal injuries and a head injury following a crash on April 5th on Bare Hill Road in Middlesex. Investigators tell News10NBC during the incident Rippey's car left the road, overturned and he was ejected. Deputies say Rippey had a BAC greater than .08% and was not wearing a seatbelt. Deputies say Rippey will appear in Middlesex Court at a later date.
