It's an exciting week for two local students who are also top notch spellers.

They will be competing Wednesday in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.

Sriram Hathwar, a 14 year old from Corning, came in third place last year. Also representing our area, Gavin Buehler from Williamson, Wayne County. The 13 year old was also in the 2012 Scripps National Spelling Bee.

We wish them the best!
