If you own a Honda Accord, you better keep an eye on it. For the fifth year in a row, the Accord leads the list of the 10 most stolen and recovered vehicles for 2013.
The list released by Lojack Corporation is based on thefts of cars equipped with the LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System.
Although there is no official word as to why car thieves continue to target the Accord, the car does have a reputation among car aficionados as surprisingly easy to steal with information on how to steal them widely available on the internet.
Right behind the Accord is the Honda Civic, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Silverado. Rounding out the top 10 for 2013 are the Acura Integra, Cadillac Escalade, Ford F350, Nissan Altima and Chevrolet Tahoe.
Most of these makes are among the best-selling cars out there, which could be why they're the most wanted by car thieves.
The most common color for a stolen vehicle is black, while the least common is turquoise.
