Foodies in western New York are excited to hear this news. According to the Buffalo News, upscale grocery chain Whole Foods plans to open a store in Amherst in the next two years.
Store representatives say the company has its sights on Rochester too.
The Buffalo News reports five to seven stores could open in the Rochester and Southern Tier markets by the end of the decade.
Whole Foods is famous for its healthy and pricey food choices.
