Hamilton Beach recalls baby food makers

Created: 05/29/2014 11:24 AM WHEC.com

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled nearly 800 Hamilton Beach Bebe brand baby food makers in the U.S. and about 3,100 in Canada.
The use of the slicing/shredding disc with the motor shaft adapter can cause the stainless steel pin to loosen and fall into processed food.
There have been three complaints but no injuries have been reported.
The food maker was sold at Buy Buy Baby stores, online at BuyBuyBaby.com, HamiltonBeach.com and at Walmart.com from September 2013 to February 2014.
Consumers should stop using the device and contact Hamilton Beach at 800-672-5872 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at www.HamiltonBeach.com.
