The city says it has begun draining the 140 million gallon reservoir at Cobbs Hill for a maintenance project next month.

The reservoir won’t be refilled until December and water customers won’t be impacted.

Cobbs Hill reservoir is one of three reservoirs that draw water from Canadice and Hemlock Lakes.

The last time the reservoir was drained for repairs was in 2009.
