Drivers facing charges in two-car crash

Two drivers are facing different charges after a late night crash Thursday. Police were called to the scene of a two-car crash on Lake Avenue and Leroy Street in Rochester around 11:30 p.m.

Police say one driver was making a left turn onto Leroy Street when he was rear-ended by a second driver. Investigators tell us the first driver, identified as a 17-year-old male from Rochester, was cited for unlicensed operation. News10NBC has also learned the second driver, a 30-year-old male from Greece, was cited for driving while intoxicated. The second driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
