Four people have been arrested and two people have pleaded guilty in connection with a check cashing ring in Rochester.
Rochester Police in conjunction with several other law enforcement agencies conducted a long-term investigation into financial crimes in our area and as a result, made several arrests.
According to police, two people have already pleaded guilty in connection with the check cashing ring. Christian Robinson, 21 of Rochester, has pleaded guilty to criminal possession of forgery devices and 39-year-old Derek Floyd of Rochester has pleaded guilty to bank fraud. He will be sentenced in August.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are forthcoming.
