The Wayne Central Chapter of the National Honor Society recently participated in Goin’ Bald for Bucks. It’s an event to raise money for cancer research and patient care programs at Wilmot Cancer Center, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Teens Living with Cancer Rochester.

Students, faculty, staff and members of the community said they would cut their hair for donations. They had hoped to raise $10,000 but they ended up raising nearly $19,000.

Congratulations from all of us at News10NBC!
