'Stroll for Strong Kids' fundraiser expected to break record

Thousands of "strollers" were out Saturday, working to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It was part of the Stroll for Strong Kids walk and 5K held at Genesee Valley Park. The run/walk is a fundraiser for the hospital. According to officials, they expect the stroll to break last year's record of $425,000.

Fundraising efforts will continue on Sunday with the Golisano Children’s Hospital Telethon live on News10NBC.

The telethon will be Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Click here to donate online or call 585-241-5437/1-800-873-2495.
