Man arrested by Joint Terrorism Task Force at Hudson Ave. Walmart

News10NBC is told a man was taken into custody Saturday afternoon at the Hudson Avenue Walmart by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force.

FBI Buffalo spokesperson Maureen Dempsey says Mufid Elfgeeh was arrested around 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hudson Avenue Walmart.

Right now, charges against Elfgeeh are sealed, but officials say the arrest is related to guns. The specific charges will be unsealed on Monday when he appears in court.

News10NBC is told was taken into custody by the Joint Terrorism Task Force which includes officers from a number of agencies including the FBI, Greece Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, New York State Police, Rochester Police Department, U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Custom and Border Protection.
