A lot of people have been speaking out about the city's plans for the Port of Rochester. On Monday night, a Charlotte Neighborhood Association meeting was held to give people a chance to sound off.
But the bigger conversation was last week's fights that broke out at the beach. Police say ten teenagers were arrested during those fights. Residents asked police what is being done to keep the area safe.
Captain Wayne Harris, Rochester Police Department, said, "The people who are enjoying the park, I want them to enjoy the park. I want them to have as much fun down here as they possibly can. We should all be able to come down here and do that. What I want my officers to do is aggressively address those people who are jumping on RTS buses for the purpose of just coming down here and creating a problem."
City officials have said they would work to hold parents responsible for those fights.
As for the development at the port, Mayor Lovely Warren says the specific details of the city's project haven't been worked out yet.
